What is the equation of the line that passes through (2,-7) and parallel to 3x+6y -8 = 0

We need to find the equation of the line that passes
through the point (2, -7)

==> y-y1 =
m(x-x1)

==> y+ 7 =
m(x-2)

Now we will find the
slope.

We know that the line if parallel to 3x+6y -8 =
0

Then, we know that the slopes are the
same.

==> We will rewrite into the slope
form.

==> y= (-1/2)x +
4/3

Then the slope is m=
-1/2

==> y+7 = -(1/2)(x
-2)

==> y= (-1/2)x + 1 -
7

==> y= -1/2 x -
6

==> 2y = -x -
12

The equation of the line is
x + 2y + 12 = 0

What accomplishments did Bill Clinton have as president?

Of course, Bill Clinton's presidency will be most clearly remembered for the fact that he was only the second president ever...
