How does Scout end up at the front step of the Radley house in To Kill a Mockingbird?

Scout had long fantasized about meeting Boo Radley and
what she would actually say to him if this seemingly impossible meeting ever occurred.
But on the night of the Halloween pageant, it was Boo who came to her rescue, saving
Scout's and Jem's lives from the evil ways of Bob Ewell. After sitting with Boo on the
porch and leading him into Jem's room so he could see her brother up close, Scout
escorted Boo back to his house. It would be her last moments with Boo, who she never saw
again, but it proved to be an experience she would never forget. She only hoped that

from her upstairs window (where) she would see
Arthur Radley escorting me down the sidewalk, as any gentleman would
do.

They ended up on Boo's
porch, where she watched him go inside. Scout lingered there for a while, reminiscing
about the past two years and gazing upon her neighborhood from a viewpoint which she had
never seen before.
