How should we deal with racism?

If we knew how to deal with racism, we would no longer
have it.  Clearly, the fact that racism still exists means we do not know how to deal
with it effectively.

One possible way to deal with racism
is through education.  People who are racist are often ignorant about the actual facts
about the race that they hate or look down on.  If we can educate them about what people
of that race are really like, they might start to see them as actual individual human
beings and not simply as members of that race.  One effective way to do this may be to
expose the people of various races to one another from a young age.  This would educate
them about the fact that people from the other race are
individuals.
