this is the goal of the women's rights movement that continues to be the most
controversial today. All of the other answers here (with the possible exception of C,
depending on what that option is supposed to mean) were major goals of the women's
rights movement. However, none of them except for A continues to have much salience
today.
In the US today, the idea that women should not be
discriminated against is widely accepted. It is no longer a major issue. The ERA is
dead and has not been a subject of discussion for years. Very few people believe that
women should be required to be homemakers. That leaves
only abortion which is, of course, one of the biggest political issues
today.
