What is 1/2log(25) + log(20)?

The expression given is (1/2)log(25) +
log(20)

To simplify this, use the property: a*log b = log
b^a and log a + log b = log a*b. Also, log is usually used for logarithm to the base
10.

(1/2)log(25) +
log(20)

=> log 25^(1/2) + log
20

=> log 5 + log
20

=> log
5*20

=> log
100

=> log
10^2

=> 2* log 10

log
10 = 1

=>
2

The value of (1/2)log(25) + log(20) =
2
