character!

Start by deciding what "ingredients" need to be
included - what are the elements of creative writing? Certainly characters, setting,
conflict, rising action, climax, falling action, any other special techniques or
elements you want to mention.

Once you know what is needed
to create a piece of creative writing, present that list of elements in the form of a
recipe. the most important elements are the main ingredients, with lesser elements
adding spice to the recipe. If you need, find a real recipe and follow its format for
amounts of ingredients and directions. (Combine 500g of character with 500g of setting,
stir in 300g of rising action,...)
