How a secondary character develops a theme.Im doing an essay, Thesis: Through out the novel the imaginary character Pip gives matlida a passage to...

I would perhaps have Pip tell about England and adventures
Matilda and her might have there incorporating characters and famous landmarks along the
way. The characters could give her pearls of wisdom to persevere and survive the
grueling days of life during a war.

In the essay Pip might
give Matilda friendship and a confidant to express her fears, hopes and dream for life
beyond the present. You could even have them journey into the
future.

Pip could tell Matilda about her ancestors in
England and how they survived wars, famine etc. Giving Matilda courage and stamina for
the trials ahead. Near the end of the essay after Pip leaves, Matilda in turn could
write letters to Pip about how she used these stories to help her survive and go on to
do great things.
